|Basic Keelboat Sailing (ASA 101)
An introductory course which teaches the fundamentals of sailing a small (20 to 30 ft.) sailboat. The course begins with a classroom session in the evening to cover terminology and fundamentals. The student then receives two days of on the water instruction and practice to develop their basic sailing skills.

| Coastal Cruising (ASA 103)
Intermediate course for the experienced sailor who wants to learn the fundamentals of daytime cruising in coastal waters. The course begins with a classroom session to discuss the basics of cruising, then two days of on water instruction. The topics covered in this course include skipper and crew duties, effective use of the VHF radio, obtaining accurate weather forecasts, proper sail combinations for conditions, docking, undocking and picking up a mooring, man overboard procedures, and an introduction to navigational chart reading.

|Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104)
Advanced class for individuals with cruising experience. It is a live aboard course of about a week usually conducted on a chartered thirty-five to fifty foot vessel, sailing by day in coastal waters and anchoring or mooring at night. The instruction includes cruise planning, provisioning, galley procedures, anchoring and mooring, required and recommended safety equipment, and boat systems and daily maintenance procedures.
Pre-Requisite: ASA 101 & ASA 103
|Coastal Navigation (ASA 105)
This is a classroom course consisting of 35+ hours of instruction and practical applications designed to teach the navigational theory required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland waters. In addition to the classroom study and exercises, significant home study is required to master this course. Pre-Requisite: None, $395.00
|Small Boat Sailing
For individuals who prefer instruction on boats under eighteen feet.
